CRITERIA
Individuals may independently apply for consideration to join the upcoming cohort. The application process is highly competitive. Final selections are made by a designated selection committee. Selected participants are known as as “fellows,” representing the program's commitment to professional excellence, influence, and distinction.
The application deadline for the Class of 2026 has now passed. Information regarding applications for the next cohort will be available in Summer 2026.
Prospective fellows are expected to meet the following professional requirements:
Corporate and Philanthropic: Director/VP/SVP (subjective based on organization size)
Government: Director (management of division, department or area)
Nonprofit: Executive Director overseeing a minimum $1 million annual budget or 3-5 employees, with the potential to lead a larger organization OR a leader at large organization with similar responsibilities.
10+ years of professional experience
Supervisory/management and leadership experience
Demonstrated high-growth and high-impact leadership potential
Civic involvement and board member experience
Interest in progression and commitment to personal and professional growth
Interest in mobility in Charlotte
At least 2 to 3 levels from C-suite
